| The initial
foundation for Brown & Pluthero Pty Ltd, Professional Survey Consultancy Group
was established on the Gold Coast in 1966. The practice has a proven record of experience
and reliability. This early beginning developed into the partnership of Brown &
Pluthero which was created in 1969. Expansion into New South Wales followed and two
companies were formed in 1973. Later in 1978, the Murwillumbah, New South Wales practice
of F.L. Butler & Associates was acquired and soon after all offices combined within
Brown & Pluthero Pty Ltd. The Firm has been
involved in providing professional services in a wide variety of development projects in
both private and government enterprises concentrated in and around the Gold Coast, Tweed
and Brisbane areas. The Firm's involvement in Surveying, Planning, Feasibility Studies and
Engineering projects embraces a major part of Southeast Queensland and Northern New South
Wales.
Government work has included large scale easement surveys for
the South East Queensland Electricity Board; Reclamation studies for private development
in conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council and the Department of Harbours and Marine;
Cadastral and Height Control Surveys throughout the Department of Mapping and Surveying;
Real Property Surveys; Engineering; Mapping and special purpose surveys for Local
Government projects.
Extensive experience has been gained in canal subdivisions.
The Firm has been continually associated with the development of 'Paradise City' by Bruce
Small Enterprises Pty Ltd, the first wholly successful high-grade canal development in
Australia.
